How to take a screenshot

Definition of 'Screenshot': An image created by copying part or all of the display on a computer screen at a particular moment, for example in order to demonstrate the use of a piece of software-Dictionary.com   Ok, now that everyone knows what it means, let me tell you how to do it. Open up a photo editing program or, you can open up PAINT, MICROSOFT WORD, PUBLISHER,  POWERPOINT, or another program. I prefer publisher, because you can move the picture around. Then go to where you want to take a screenshot of. Make sure it is exactly how you want it! Then press PRINT SCREEN which, is usually, in the top right corner of your keyboard. Mine is right before my number keypad. Next, you go to the program you opened and on your keyboard you can press CTRL then V, or you can just press paste. Then, magically, your screenshot will appear! If there is unwanted things on your screenshot, crop it. I know you can crop on POWERPOINT AND PUBLISHER, but I'm not sure about the others. And So The Votes Predict...

The votes, so far, wanted me to get more videos and pictures and news on my blog. Well, you may think the votes predict what i will do, but no! The votes tell ME what to do. Yes, I said it. For whatever people vote for , I will put on my blog ASAP(As Soon As Possible, for those of you that don't know.). The videos do take a while to upload and I was having difficulties with them yesterday. I will try again today, in this post.

Chester Strikes Again!

For those of you that don't know Chester, she is my pet girl guinea pig. And if anyone was wondering why I gave HER a boy name, it was because I liked the name. That is the one and only reason why I named her Chester. But, in my point of view it fits her quite well. Very well, actually. I will insert 2 videos and 2 pictures. If you're wondering, on one of the videos, why on EARTH I would take a video of my room, it is Chester squeaking. The speaker is on the back of the camera, so it would get better sound if I did that. So I did it. Okay, who cares about introductions? You? Well, not me that much. So let's get to the pictures and videos!

New Pictures On "Other"!

On the "Other" page there are pictures of the OSC (Orlando Science Center) of most of the animals there. There is 133 pictures total and 121 from the Science Center, so it may take a little (or long) time to load, depending on the device you are using.

New News!

There will now be a "Reading Material of the Week"! Readers and BookStars will enter their reading material (e.g. magazine, poem, book, newsletter, PowerPoint) , that he/she wrote. If not enough people enter there will be a newsletter of mine or a older thing that my friends wrote. There will also be "BookStar of the Week" when there is enough BookStars. Both of them will take place on Wednesdays, since I get out early from school.

Sorry...again

Sorry I haven't posted a drawing in FOREVER. (Well, maybe not FOREVER but you get the point. Not in a loooooooong time.) If you want to submit your book, PowerPoint, newsletter, drawing, picture, or just about anything you can email it to me at ellasbooks.blogger@gmail.com! Thanks for all the things you enter! (Especially Nicole S. who did a PowerPoint about Harry Potter that is REALLY AWESOME even though I am not a Harry Potter fan.  I'm so sorry I haven't done a new post yet, but I have been working on the pages. Like, on the BookStars there is a PowerPoint I made about how to become a BookStar and on the Other page there is a PowerPoint about Harry Potter that my friend, Nicole made. More info about BookStars is on the BookStar page and the first BookStar is on their-Nicole S. because she wrote the PowerPoint about Harry Potter. How do you like it? I'm going to sign off with it on every post. I made it using Mybannermaker.com. I first saw something that someone made with mybannermaker on someones blog that I was reading. Hope you like it!

OK, 23 was a lot but 79 pageviews today!? I only looked at my blog like, 30 or 40 times today! Today, Sunday, August 5, 2012, at 1:28 pm eastern time I got exactly 500 views.  I finally decided to draw a picture of one of the snails. In this drawing it is Happy Snail. Comment if I forgot any info about Happy or you like my drawing! Hope you like my drawing! (Sorry, I had to make it so small. I tried X-Large, but it was to big because it went way to far over, so I had to change it to Large.)

You can click on those and if you clicked on Other Random Things, for example, it would take to the page that has other random things. You can click HERE to go directly to the "Other Random Things" page. For Giant Snail #1 it would take you to the first Giant snail book, Giant Snail and the Zucchini.
